MIHP provides support, education and resources to help moms during pregnancy, and babies in their first year of life. MIHP has a nurse and social worker who can provide visits in the home, office or through telehealth. MIHP provides help with understanding what to expect during pregnancy and with a new baby while learning about infant care and development. MIHP staff will help find resources and provide needed referrals to community agencies, doctors, WIC, Medicaid Health Plans, including transportation assistance to get to appointments.
