Family Planning

Family Planning:

Our staff is committed to providing confidential services and quality care.

The goal of our Family Planning Program is to provide affordable reproductive health services to anyone of reproductive age. The clinic is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse who assist clients with reproductive health education, counseling and information about contraceptive methods and management as well as physical exams, pregnancy testing and STI screening. Our staff is committed to providing confidential services and quality care.

Family Planning promotes the opportunity for individuals and families to space and plan for healthy pregnancies. We aim to prevent health problems by early detection through routine exams and screenings. We provide referrals to other health department programs and to outside agencies and/or providers to meet client needs that may be out of the health department scope of services.

If you had a pap smear with another healthcare provider within the last year, let us know.  We can assist you with a release of information form which will allow that provider to share those specific medical records with us.

Teenagers are given priority appointments in the clinic. All services are confidential; parental consent is not required, but encouraged.
