The Tuscola County Safe Communities is a community-based coalition comprised of
members
of human services agencies, schools, and the general public. This coalition
meets approximately every other month, and welcomes new
members. If you are interested in serving on

Tobacco Reduction Objectives of the Coalition
- Provide a tobacco resources distribution and referral
service to the community.
- Develop and maintain community mobilization and
awareness around tobacco-related issues.
- Develop and maintain multi-cultural input to coalition
efforts.
- Promote and increase the availability of clean indoor
air in the community.
- Promotion of tobacco use cessation targeting health
care providers in Tuscola County.
