Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment

 

Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) provides health and developmental screening and referrals for individuals from birth to age 21 who are currently covered by Medicaid. 

Physical examinations include:

  • Immunizations
  • Hearing screening
  • Vision screening
  • Lead screening
  • Hemoglobin
  • Denver Developmental testing

  • Your child doesn't have lead in their system?
  • Is your child's hearing okay?
  • Are your child's learning abilities up to speed?
  • Your child doesn't have sugar in their urine?
  • Your child's height and weight are in proper proportion?
  • Your child is eating a well balanced diet?
  • That all shots are up to date?

Eligibility for Services

All individuals under the age of 21, who have Medicaid, are eligible to receive services.

Cost of Services

Services are provided free of charge to individuals eligible for the Program.

Hours of Service

Appointments can be made Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon, and 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Appointments are required to receive services.
